| You will need old bread, milk, butter, an egg, and sugar |
| Slice the bread |
| Break the egg and mix with 20ml milk |
Heat some unsalted butter in the frying pan.
| Dip the bread on both sides |
| Sprinkle sugar and fry the bread, sugar side down |
| Sprinkle sugar on the bread and then flip |
| Enjoy! |
| For my second batch I added more sugar and left it for longer. It caramalised and was scrumptious! |
