Black miso cod from pauline

I tasted this delicious dish at Nobu restaurant London, and wanted to replicate it.

Not that I want to float my own boat, but this dish is divine... and pretty close to the real thing!

Black miso cod ingredients

You will need black cod, miso paste (soybean paste found in refrigerated section in oriental supermarkets), mirin, sake, sugar, vegetables (I had peanut shoot stir fry), and rice.

Boil mirin and sake
Add 150g sugar and stir
Add miso paste
Stir till smooth
Cool in a bowl

Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees celcius.

Marinate cod

Put cod in oven for 10 minutes or until cooked.

Enjoy!

Serve with vegetables and rice.
